On Oct 3rd and 4th 2026, I’ll host the second round of the Couples Connection group. I want to share a little about the group so you can decide if it feels like the right fit for you.
This is for couples who love their partners, but feel sometimes (or lots of times) that they struggle to understand one another, or fall into patterns of miscommunication too often, and end up feeling angry, tired, or alone. This is for couples who want to learn new patterns, but can't fit in weekly therapy yet, or who find it hard to stay motivated with books or self-directed learning. This weekend is for couples willing to roll up their sleeves and try something new because they value their relationship and their partner.
The group is both gentle and challenging, uncomfortable and nourishing.
As a participant, you’ll explore how to be honest with yourself and with your partner about what matters to you, what is impacting you, and what you dream of. And you’ll practice listening to your partner as they share these things with you.
This can be really hard.
But you’ll do it within a structure that provides support—something to lean on. You’ll use tools that support connection to yourself and to your partner. Hard, but gentle.
You’ll also build a foundation for doing this honest, challenging work. You’ll practice centering yourself. You’ll learn new ways to use your breath, calm your body, and soothe your nerves. When things become too challenging, you’ll pause, and we will pause with you.
We let ourselves pause because the work is too important not to.
You—and the other people in the group—will learn to care for the bodily and emotional sensations that need our attention. You’ll learn about the very common, very human obstacles that come up when we’re partnered: when we’re trying to love ourselves while loving another person.
And you’ll practice taking responsibility for your part, while giving yourself and your loved one room to grow and to practice partnering in a different way.
And when it becomes too challenging, again, we’ll pause. We’ll take care. And then we’ll try again.
One of the neatest things about the group is that you’ll do this alongside other couples who are yearning for the same thing: to be honest, to be loving, and to grow.
If this piques your interest, I hope you’ll reach out.
