My name is Polly, and I am a licensed social worker (LMSW) with over eight years of experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, grief, and depression. I was raised in a diplomatic family in Europe, an experience that shaped my ability to connect with people across cultures and life circumstances. I bring a thoughtful, grounded approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with mindfulness and somatic methods to support whole-person healing.
I have worked extensively with individuals from a wide range of socioeconomic and cultural
backgrounds, including people experiencing homelessness and immigrants from around the world. This work has strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are, and to offer care that is inclusive, culturally responsive, and rooted in respect.
With over 400 hours of training in yoga and meditation, I incorporate mindfulness and meditative practices into my clinical work. I focus not only on emotional and intellectual healing, but also on supporting nervous system regulation, helping clients build a greater sense of safety, resilience, and connection within themselves.
My strengths as a therapist include deep listening, warmth, creativity, and inclusion. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful and sustainable change.
