I believe every person is on a journey of self-creation. With all the demands of our modern world, occasionally this thread of self-creation can be buried under the necessities of our practical lives. What is your purpose? How do you live a life of fulfillment and contentment? What behaviors, emotions, and thoughts are holding you back from who you want to be? Through a collaborative, strength-based, and judgment-free therapeutic relationship, it is my goal to assist individuals and couples in uncovering or creating answers to these questions.

Leveraging my undergraduate studies in philosophy, I start from an existential lens, helping you build a holistic view of your personhood to be used as a starting point for processing your experiences and creating change. Utilizing techniques from mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, we will work together in aligning your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions with your values and purpose.

I received my Masters in Clinical Social Work from UMD, and have experience in assisting teens and adults from diverse backgrounds navigate difficult transition periods and the uncertainty, depression, and anxiety that these periods can bring. I have also led therapy groups concentrated on Anger Management, Substance Use, and Coping with Grief and Loss, for both teens and adults.

Focuses Include:

- Transitional Periods (New parents, young-adult transitions, marriage, grief and loss, retirement, divorce)
- Substance Abuse
- Anger Management
- Professional burnout
- Spirituality and meaning
