Intake Process

Take some time to read the information each therapist has provided on the Therapists Page. Then, either call us at (301) 563 9156, or send us an email. Monica Testa coordinates all our intakes, so you will be hearing from her. She will do her best to connect you with a therapist who you both think will best meet your current needs. Once you have been set up with a therapist you will receive a link to the Client Portal and you will be asked to fill out some online forms (no need to print anything!) before your first appointment.

Fees & Insurance

Therapy sessions for individuals, couples, or families are usually 55 minutes long and costs between $150. - $180.

We are in-network providers for all Care First/Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance plans; we are out-of-network providers for all other insurance plans. If you have an out-of-network benefit, we will provide you with a super bill so that you can seek reimbursement from your insurance provider. Payment is expected at the time of service and may be made by cash, check, or credit card.

Each therapists has a few openings for sliding scale appointments if we do not work with your insurance, but these openings fill up fast.

Cancellations require 24 hour advance notice. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. If the appointment is not cancelled in advance the full session fee will be charged.
