Welcome! Thank you for beginning your therapeutic journey. *Take a moment to take a deep breath and notice how your body feels*. Now that you are a bit more relaxed let me share a bit about myself and my journey.

I am a Latina honored to be able to provide bilingual services to children, adolescents, young adults, and people of color. I am a born and raised Marylander and value the importance of community and serving them as well. I obtained my BA in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I have my Master of Social Work with a behavioral health concentration from University of Maryland, Baltimore. I believe in seeing individuals as a whole and taking into consideration all aspects of their lives. I stand by creating an inclusive environment that nurtures and celebrates individuality.

My specialty areas of focus are anxiety, self-esteem, depression, trauma, anger management, and grief/loss. I am willing to tackle any adversity that you may be experiencing. I take an eclectic approach to therapy and use several different approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialect Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Art Therapy, Play Therapy and Mindfulness. For me personally, it is fundamental to meet you where you are and engage in culturally appropriate treatment modalities.

I look forward to embarking with you on this therapeutic journey! Don’t forget to be kind to yourself. Therapy can be enlightening but also requires openness to the process.
