I am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) in Washington, DC. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Barry University and a Masters of Social Work from The Catholic University of America. I identify as a Black Latina from Dominican Republic. I aim to create a safe space for healing and growth where you can be your true and authentic self. I truly believe in the person-centered approach where we take in account your individual and unique cultural backgrounds, environments, and experiences to build on strengths that you already possess.
I am experienced in providing bilingual therapeutic services to adolescents, young adults, women of color, and queer (LGBTQIA+) clients. My specialty areas include trauma, anxiety, depression, life stressors & transitions, self-esteem, self-identity, relationships, and communication challenges. I like to describe my working style as collaborative and fluid using various modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and mindfulness interventions.
I value the therapeutic relationships that I create with my clients and hope to collaborate with you to reach your goals.
